It’s important to note that Xtin Grand Fire Suppressors are designed to complement, not replace, traditional fire extinguishers. Unlike conventional extinguishers, they are non-refillable and may not be suitable for properties with frequent fire incidents. However, they serve as a first line of defence, neutralizing flames instead of suffocating them. This makes them safer and are classified as non-hazardous (non-hazmat) materials unlike all traditional fire extinguishers.
Additionally, if a fire cannot be categorized (A, B, C, K, Lithium-ion or combination), the Xtin Grand Fire Suppressor can be activated and thrown into the fire like a grenade creating a thick cloud of smoke, which has a longer effective usage range than traditional fire extinguisher that must be manually used more like a pistol but within 6-8ft from a fire. Please note both product offerings do have a 5-year manufacturer warranty, however Xtin Grand are maintenance-free, natively constructed for saltwater environments without accessories and simply need to be replaced every 5 years rather than traditional fire extinguishers that require biannual service.

Introduction
- Release the locking pin on the handle from the unit.
- Hold the fire extinguisher from a distance of 1 meter with the nozzle towards the starting point of the flame.
- Press the yellow start button once to activate the device.
- Hold the fire extinguisher steady and refrain from sweeping movements. Approach the fire as it loses strength to extinguish it completely. It is important that all “smoke” (aerosol) ends up on the fire if possible.

There is currently no standard to certify our extinguishing agent (potassium) against. We have been in contact with the major testing agencies, but the extinguishing agent is too new for them to be able to certify the extinguishing agent against any standard.
Powder is great as an extinguishing agent, but also great at destroying everything in its path. The potassium mix does not destroy anything. However, it is difficult to measure up to the extinguishing power of a powder extinguisher.
